B.L. Vohra, an author of 9 books, was born in Punjab in March 1944. He joined the Indian Police Service in 1967 and after a distinguished career in Delhi, Punjab and North-East in various police and para-military forces for about four decades, making valuable contributions in all the challenging assignments, he retired as Director-General of Police in 2004. He is the recipient of the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service amongst other medals and honours. Training is his hobby and presently he is the Managing Director of M5 Trainers training corporate houses and others in management skills. He is also the President of NGO Vastradan.
